A new post-graduate and outward facing facility for Liverpool Business School.
The refurbishment of two Grade II listed Georgian terraces in the Rodney Street Conservation area and within the Unesco World Heritage Site buffer zone, this project came with inherent challenges by the very nature of the buildings’ heritage status. Added to this, 4 Rodney Street was the home of the first US Consul, James Maury and the birthplace of The Beatles manager Brian Epstein. We wanted to respect the rich historical context when developing the scheme for the tenant in waiting, Liverpool Business School so wherever possible original features were maintained and tastefully restored.
