OPD Refurbishment, LHCH
Working in a live environment to improve the outpatients’ experience.
The refurbishment of this outpatients’ department was undertaken in a live hospital environment. This project included infilling an existing courtyard to expand the waiting area, provision of a new reception desk, check in area and consulting/examination rooms. Critically, the department needed to remain fully operational for the duration of the programme, a complex challenge in itself.
